Although Richmond is home to a number of gyms, the locals here lament the fact that at so many of them, the atmosphere is either overwhelmingly intimidating or uniformly impersonal. What's different about our boxing gym is that it's small and independently owned, so you get the individual attention you want. Additionally, our focus is on getting fit through the practice of martial arts, versus using machines and cardio equipment. Think punching bags, sled pushes, free weights and battle ropes.
Besides boxing lessons, we offer muay thai, jiu jitsu and mixed martial arts classes in which participants not only get fit, but learn more about the practice of these ancient forms of combat. Some students start with our strength training and cardio classes and go on to try boxing classes or another martial art and find they love it!
